Diving deeper into the work

Are you struggling to make headway, or even get started, with a big personal writing project – a novel, memoir, collection of essays or non-fiction book? This autumn Jamie Jauncey and Richard Pelletier are launching another four-month programme for Dark Angels who would like community, support, and encouragement as they dive deeper into their personal writing.

This group is for four writers who will come together online for encouragement, constructive feedback, and the fellowship of travelling companions.

You’ll meet once a month for four months, for two hours in the group. You’ll also have two hour-long one-to-one sessions to discuss work-in-progress (one with Jamie, one with Richard), and you’ll partner with another member of the group between sessions.

Together you’ll explore key elements such as structure, voice, and setting. You’ll reflect on your writing regime. You’ll help each other make real progress on your projects, with a strong dose of Dark Angels warmth and magic throughout.

Date & Times: October 16, November 20, December 18, January 22

Third Tuesday of the month, 5.00pm–7.00pm (UK)

Four monthly two-hour group sessions, plus two one-to-one tutorials, plus buddy work between sessions

Group size: Maximum four participants, plus two tutors

Cost: £750 (instalment options available)

Bookings: Email Jamie to book your place

If this opportunity calls to you but the times don’t work, please let us know. If there's demand, we can always run second groups – and have done so in the past. There’s also the option to work 1:1 with Jamie or Richard, if that feels like a better fit – just ask.
