Family Matters – Launch Party

It’s a family celebration. Come and join us for the launch of the latest Dark Angels volume of poetry, on the theme of ‘Family Matters’. This new anthology brings together 18 writers, with Galen O’Hanlon as the main featured poet.
It’s a celebration of family but these poems express the whole range of emotions aroused by that theme. So there’s much to enjoy and think about on subjects like childhood, memory, parenthood, loss.
On the night, there will be readings, conversation, laughter, possibly some tears, all washed down with a glass or two at the Savoy Tap, just off the Strand, our tried and tested venue for Dark Angels writing.
So please join old friends and new members of the Dark Angels family, in the most congenial of surroundings.
Books, beautifully produced by Paekakariki Press, will be available to buy on the night.
